I wouldn't trust the PlanetCoH stats. They're from back in the beta, likely way off.

I don't know if you read thru any more of that thread than just the top post, but NemBUS (http://www.nemesischiken.org/nembus/CoH.html) for CoH was just recently updated with the 1.3 patch and has all the vet details pretty much laid out in there now.

Hmm , im sorry Nemesis looks like a great site but I need a translation for this "experience value","single_player_unit" stuff.

Hm, nemesis, there's soemthing odd there....
Check the stats for the sherman 75 / 76 mm gun.. the only difference with the upgrade is supposedly a larger radius and slower fire rate? No change to damage or penetration or anything. That is ... odd.
There's a few other oddities I noticed, this is definitely not all there is to it, I suspect. I'll look at it a bit more, see if I come up with anything. What am I reading wrong?
THe short of it according to the nimbus stats thing:
Veterancy 1: 25% speed bonus
Veterancy 2: 50% penetration bonus to main weapon (not mg's). (Less chance of shot bouncing off harmlessly).
Veterancy 3: 25% damage bonus to main weapons (not mg's).
Axis armor: (StuG)
Vet 1: Received damage multiplied by 0.85
Vet 2: Added top MG42.
Vet 3: Received penetration chance multiplied by 0.75
Axis armor upgrade is about half as strong as the allied one, but that's sort of fine. THe discrepancy in allied and Axis INFANTRY however, is far more severe.
