View Full Version : another minor bug with forward HQs

Hi guys

I don't play this game online,only over LAN against my dad and friends,or CO-OP against AI.

But I have noticed this bug,which I may add has saved my arse on numorous occasions (only really works against AI though,stupid trigger happy noobs :) ).

Basically,I set-up a forward HQ and eventurally my position will proberly be overrun,when it is the AI takes the terriotory the point is in,but not the HQ (as a human player would).

This oviously means im unable to build new units from this forward HQ,but what I can do is,if I can get a half strength squad for example near the HQ building I can still reinforce from it.Despite it being "behind enrmy lines".

Presumably this is a fault no?

Depends how you look at it, you could reinforce from a half track behind enemy lines so why not an HQ, but I see your point.

well that is the point of a half track as well as a transport soo...

Can a forward HQ ever really be behind enemy lines? You can't make units from it, but I don't really see reinforcing from it as a bug. Might be an unintended feature though. :D

Doesnt seem like a bug, since the foward HQ hasnt been decapped yet. You certainly cant reinforced from a totally decapped HQ.
