Today I started modeling the first ship in my tc, I have only modeled a couple things before this, so I'm still pretty new at it, if anyone would point me to a few 3dsmax 5 tutorials that would be nice...
I think my tc will be a good one if it gets done, it's going to run off the events of hw/hw:c/hw2. It'll actually take place about 300 years after hw2. I'm looking for some modelers/texturers/mex and .shp editers (if they exist in hw2)

The model sucks but it's my first one using that program
edit: Btw, I know the poly count is too high, the model isn't exactly what I wanted it to be, and if anyone had any feedback for my designs plz feel free

Today I started writing up the history and the first 4 missions in my storyline, of course all this iwll be subject to change once hw2 comes out, because it is set 100-200 years after the events of it
When showing off a model, it's best not to have bright backgrounds and lens flares cluttering things up. Just pick a background color that makes the model stand out and post a couple different angles.
The main body of the ship reminds me of a Formula 1 car, which is cool.

The model seems a bit too high poly for such a simple shape...

As for the polycount, it won't be the exact model I'll be using, it was more like a test, considering it's my first model

Well.. I've been working on a ship for the last 2 days, it was supposed to be a torpedo frigate... but if you slapped 4 wheels on it, it would look like car... Modeling is hard

after 3 things that looked like absolute crap... I came up with something that isn't absolute crap...

wow...i like that last one........it looks...kushan like a carrier but small.
