Installing Dawn of War Gold after DC

Dark Crusade (DC) got me hooked on wanting to play Space Marines (SM) online. So, I bought the DOW Gold Edition. What is the most trouble-free way to install DOW Gold with DC? Should I

uninstall DC and start installation from scratch with DOW Gold

In uninstalling DC are there any files that I must manually remove?, etc.
Do I need to add any DOW Gold patches before installing DC?

or can I simply install the DOW Gold Edition over DC?
Maybe I missed the right message in TA. I would rather not do regedit, but if I must I will do so. Thanks.

As to what are you referring to in Technical Assistance? - its a large forum area!!

Regedit is nothing to worry or be afraid of - if you need to we can guide you through it.
If you can access the races in single player or skirmish (as i think you can without the CD Keys) then all you need to do add the registry entries to the DC registry.

Start > Run > "regedit"
Navigate to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\THQ\Dawn of War - Dark Crusade

There should be 3 entries here for CD Keys - CDKEY (DC key), CDKEY_WXP(WA key) and another one which will be the original DoW (i don't have it installed on this computer so i can't check!)
You can edit these accordingly.
