Retired company director, age 47 and bit of a Gaming God, (err Ok - make that "want to be" gaming god), been playing PC games for 10 years, co-manage a 20 member strong European clan competing in clanbase, (clan was playing Farcry, now plays BF2, will be playing either Enemy Territory or Crysis in a few months).
Tried RTS games online before, but always gave up because of the constant early rush by the 12 year olds. COH is the first time I have stuck with an RTS online.
We did a similar fact find on the Farcry official forum 2 years ago and about 20% of players were age 30 - 40 and 10% of them were age 40+. So assume therre are more old farts like me out there playing COH.

I am 27 years old, born and raised in Canada (T.O.) I work as a full-time Chef at a local restaurant. I am a Senior 1st Officer of FlightLevel 370 "|FL370|" with about 25 "mature" members. The clan was formed by a group of pilots back in the Mohaa days and has been together ever since. I, until recently, ONLY played FPS "CoD/BF2" and now im am addicted to CoH and the WB. My past gaming history includes the Warcraft Series (Not WoW ewwwwwwwww...) I also did pretty well in Diablo 2, In selling my account for $150usd just before they released th 1.10 patch. After that I realized how much time you have to put into the RPG's to get anywhere and I started to get into FPS. I have competed in TWL and CAL-O and have found that in the end the competition is more irritating than fun.
I have managed to get about 25% of the clan playing CoH and they all love it. I have found the I really enjoy making CoH maps and somtimes find myself working on them for hours on end.

30 year old Canadian studying bacterial genetics in Scotland (ate Haggis for Burns Supper last night). I used play a lot basketball, but since moving to the UK, I have taken up tennis and volleyball. I am an avid NBA fan, mostly I follow the Raptors and Suns.
I read Sci-Fi and War History in my spare time; my favorite author is Phillip K. Dick.
I've played PC games since Loadrunner on the VIC20. I have had so many favorite games over the years that I wont bother listing them. Recent favs have been UT, C&C:ZH, BF2 and CoH. My gf plays CoH too, and we frequently pwn n00bs together.
I learned how to play CoH well by participating in the Gamereplays.org mentor/mentee program. My Mentor was Bowtome, and he helped me out quite a bit.
I play with the 2eC clan (http://www.2ndeuropean.com) and we basically have fun, pwn and make movies (http://youtube.com/watch?v=O5XAuTZWwOA) n' stuff.

I'm 19 years old, living in a small town in western Canada and I walk with a cane sometimes - even though I don't physically need it. I'm a student with no friends that I've met offline and play too many video games. I very rarely play online (though XBLive is more friendly when dealing with fuckwads - they shut up more often to a real voice as supposed to words on a screen).
I own about...................250-350 games over 5 consoles and a computer, and have played (in many cases, beaten) them all. I love to cheat on single player games (it's more fun for me, though I do play without and still beat it). I'm strongly against copy protection malware - such as Starforce, and to a lesser degree, SecuROM 7.
In short, my entire life revolves around my games, internet, cats and guinea pigs :) I've also been playing games since the age of 1!

24 years of age (for another 2 weeks anyway), I live in a small town near London in England and I work as computer programmer. My hobbies are poker, computer games and playing with my dogs. I got married at 19 but have no kids yet (though the missus is beginning to nag me to start...gulp!)
My gaming experience is vast. At age 4 I got a BBC Micro and a Sinclair ZX81 and I never looked back. I estimate the number of different titles I have played on various platforms to be well in excess of 1000.

Soon at the age of 20 and 6months from now serving at finnish army for 6-12months, which is every man's duty here in finland. After that, back to studies. I started gaming with Sega genesis, then PS1 and after that got in to PC gaming. After that I have never played consoles again.
With PC I have played pretty much it all: turn-based, simulation, racing, fps, rts, rpg you name it. First online gaming is as late as Warcraft3, but i played with friends in LAN long before that. After WC3 switched to FPS games like MoH, Cod, CSS, BF2 got bored to shooting and now here i'm at CoH back at RTS. I still like to play WC3 custom games(dota, td and such). I have been involved at clanplaying and what not, but now a days i'm a bit more intrested in 3d modelling than gaming, because now a days every game seems to be half-baked and the same thing starts with every time i switch game.

Who am I?
I’m a 22 years old RTS fan. I have been playing RTS since well C&C and Red Alert and then AoE and many more after does. Never gone online until now actually (didn’t have an internet connection when I was young).
Been playing CoH since my neighbour told me about the BETA in the end of July or was it the beginning of August? And now we always play it together at weekends. I have a 08-17 hour work and take care of my daughter (who is 2,5) every day when I get home. So I play as much as I can during weekends. =P Guess that covers most of it, or some any way.
Didn’t really grasp the question about “who relic community is” but figure it answers it self with all the answers in this thread about us… that is if I understand it correctly. ;)

Oh well, age 38, shoe size 10 1/2, male (apparently), live in the South of England (U.K.), work in IT as a tech support person, have a family, play games (online since the pre-broadband days of Counter-Strike beta), enjoy having a laugh. See my sig if you are really that interested and follow the link to the 1st Hussars clan.

26, Navy Vet.
I joined in April of 2001. During tech school, Sept. 11 occured. I spent most of the next five years overseas on various ships supporting our troops and most specifically, Navy pilots by keeping the jets in top condition. Avionics technician, for all intents and purposes, Electrical Engineering.
I have been around the world three times, and enjoyed every minute even though it killed my marraige.
I have been playing games since I was old enough to understand what I was doing, and that dates back to the Atari 2600. My first computer was a C64, and I never stopped since. First RTS experience was Dune 2, though I never really got into it until HW2. From there, I flirted with DoW a little - Beta through 1.3, but gave it up due to my deployment schedule.
I left the Navy with my honorable in May of 2005. Now I am back in school and working, studying to further my electrical engineering background while playing CoH and EvE and eagerly waiting on a little gem of a game called Sins of a Solar Empire. Any of the old Homeworld and Cata fans should know what this game is, and who it is developed by.
Finally, in qouting the immortal words of Silent Bob, "Bitch, what you dont know about me could just about fill the Grand Fucking Canyon."
