I used to play homeworld long ago, but now I have reinstalled Windows and Homeworld. I can't access homeworld.update.won.net! I heard there were some problems with the DNS, and indeed, a whois returns no match for homeworld.update.won.net or update.homeworld.won.net. Anyone out there? Does Homeworld live? Do people play on won.net? lemmie guess, people play on WON still, but download the patch from relicnews?

As far as I know the Won/Sierra Updater is "NO MORE" (gone).
Won it's self is up and working (or was?) but there has been a few times that it has been down when I tried to play.

I think this is the link for the HW 1.05 patch that Uber posts.

I have all my game patches saved on disks. Saves time when re-formatting or re-installing.
