Yes it's 16, or actualy 15 days untill Hw2 is released in the us...the rest of the world will have to wait until 12 September.

Now since there is a bit more than 2 Weeks before the release, there aren't that many "secrets" that relic has to withhold now is there?

i previously asked about spawning objects, or ships spawning other ship. this technique is visible when the Huugaran torpedoe frigate fires its two torpedoes, which each split up into 4 Missiles. if u want to know the rest then search for that thread.

Anyways, is base mining possible? in the sense that a ship latches itself to an asteroid ( that's possible, hte hiigaran collectors do that by default) and collects Rus. it has a patheticly large storage capacity. now if the base was a carrier class, meaning that the Rus it collected are added to your stockpile, then that's the end of that, However;
If the base builds ships continuously (that you can't take control of) and sends them to the closest carrier/Ms. There they are auto-retired and the Ru's are returned to a utilizable state. now 100% efficiency is a bit much if a n 80 or 90% efficincy can be obtained then that would be gr8. Would the later system work??

Another method of doing this would involve leaching and telling a ship to auto-leech a specific subsystem... but since code-mods wont be suported, and the Cata elements haven't been certified to be within Hw2, i'd really like to know if leeching is included (and linking for that matter). also the auto-building and auto-retiring will be suported...wont it?...

Its not coming out in two weeks. Read (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14304&perpage=15&pagenumber=1).

Methinks none of your questions are answerable until someone gets their hands on the game.
