Dont u hate it when maybe ur stug sees a at moving close to it and decides to attack without u knowing?

I think there should be a morale system where lets say a group of riflemen wouldnt attack a tank without maybe some stickie bombs.

Or maybe a tank wouldnt engage a at by its self. Cuz hey lets face it i doubt in WW11 a group of infantry by itself would attack a tank without any kind of antitank weapons.

The morale should work like this.... lets say if u tell a group of riflemen(un upgraded) to attack a tank, if the morale was in play then the group would say "no sir are u crazy"

Or maybe if a tank rushed a rifle squad that maybe they would try to escape from it rather then attack it?

I think that the morale should be decided between each unit (lets say a KCH would have better morale then some volks) or maybe if u ordered a tank to attack a at it would only do it if there was friendly units alrdy engaging it, it was maybe a tiger or pershing, there is more friendly units in the area, or maybe they could make a special effect that would make all your units fearless.

I think this would give a more realistic sense to the game and help out alot.

Thanks, Kingtiger

yea morale would really make the game a lot more complicated than it should be.

for example, if rifles don't have stickies yet and there's a clump in one area, would they retreat if a halftrack comes up to them?

in my personal experiences, the rifles would kill the halftrack without many casaulties, with or without stickies.

Infantry attacked tanks in WW2 all the time.

Here's the problem with tanks: they have a lot of blind spots, unless the commander decides to poke his head up. It wasn't uncommon for an unsupported tank to be overrun by infantry and the crew wiped out.

1) Shoot the commander if he's showing his face.
2) Put a pistol in the driver's viewport and empty the magazine/cylinder, moving the barrel as you fire
3) Open the hatch, drop in a grenade or two, close the hatch.

Tanks are actually very vulnerable to infantry and in real life should never fight without infantry support to keep them from being overrun.

Except, there is like an inch or two of bullet proof glass on viewports and hatches I am pretty sure only open from the inside....

Yeah, but due to visibility issues, and the "GET OUT FAST, THE FRIGGIN TANK IS GONNA BLOW!" factor the hatch was almost never locked
