It seems that any FSAA setting above 0 with my GF4 4400 makes the game do strange things whenever I click on the screen....it's hard to describe but the screen flickers for half a second with a resized and distorted image of what you see on the screen currently, only overlayed on top.

Group some fighters, then dock them in a carrier. Jump the carrier to another point. Hit the group button for your fighters, and you'll be staring at the blank space where the carrier used to be before it jumped.

Not sure if this is a bug but there's no way to tab through forms, which is mildly annoying.

Thoughts

Hitting the menu buttons (i.e. Build, Research, Launch) should work like toggle. Hit B once to see the build menu, hit it again to hide it.

Is there any way to pan the camera like the hand tool in Photoshop or the grab-along-the-ground control method in Black and White? I kept trying to hold spacebar to drag-and-pan, obviously that doesn't work.

Mouse sensitivity should be adjustable. Not sure how this one got overlooked. Probably should add an option to invert the Y-axis as well.

It seems to hate NAT. I tried to open up all the required ports but since my router's config utility was designed with confusing the end user in mind (SMC Barricade), I never got it to work right for hosting games.

Torpedo frigates seem a little too powerful. Apparently rushing with ion cannon platforms works well.

Perhaps there could be a way to display the health of all ships on screen by holding a button?

It would be nice if you could just right click to reduce the build amount by one.

The current method of moving things up and down the priority system is a little bit clunky, although I can't think of any suggestions for improvement at the moment.

It'd be nice if we could reverse the behavior of the scroll wheel. I'm not sure why I'm used to scrolling in the other direction to zoom in, I think it has something to do with the applications I use normally (3D modelling stuff).

If I think of anything else I'll just edit this post.

I havent had either of the first problems, and what forms are you tabbing?

Yea, it would be nice if it was like a toggle.

Try the arrow keys to move around.


The platforms say they dont work untill they are stationary, but I have seen them move while firing... They should also be a lot slower.

Torp frigates do seem to strong especially VS caps. Ion Frigates are all but useless as far as I can see, Torp Frigates do better and can destroy everything. The torps fragment and can take down fighters and corvs with ease, they stay intact and can obliterate frigs and caps easily. There a bit too multi-purpose.

If you have your cursor on it to right click whats so difficult about hitting the X?

The queue priority could be fixed easy, rather then moving single ships move the whole group.
