strange keybord problem...

i have a strange keybord problem in the game..
i cannot type the questionmark symbol (?) and the ! symbol and some less important symbols,
when i press shift and + i types only an +.
Other strange errors:
when i press the ' key it types an o,
if i press the shift and the ' it types an big O
when a press the ´ key it types an a,
this is very annoing (sp?) in multiplayer games and the lobby because everyone gets confused when i ask something.
what can i do?

What language are you using in Windows? You can probably add english keyboard to windows, and it may work. Other than that, you may have to wait for the full version in your language (assuming the full version in your language supports your keyboard).

I suspect it may be something with the default character set they're using. Try adding a US keyboard to your setup and see if that sorts out out for now.

I have the same problem, and i gotta say i really h8 relic for that.

What if i dont want to use the version in the language of my keyboard, cuz all the stuff will have different names than in the english version? If one thing is sure, its that i will NEVER buy the german version of any game i intend to play online. :grumble:

Im pretty much sure that at least 50% of the ppl playing the demo at moment arent from US/UK.

Yes Jumper, of course, switching to US layout will work, but it will not solve the problem, cuz keys like "Z" and "Y" are swapped then (with german kb), and i dont even dare imagining the chaos this would produce with a french keyboard, for example.

Its really an excellent example for bad programming style /*EDIT: if it will be in the release too*/...srry to say that. And, its just so...american...to not even think about the rest of the world...

dont get me wrong i dont want to rant about americans here...im just seriously annoyed by that "bug"

I just question if this will be a problem with the full version or not. I know they cut out a lot of extra overhead for this demo, so it might be that the data required for the international keyboards was cut as well (although I can't see that being more than a couple hundred K).

I use a swedish keyboard and language setup, no problems here.
