[Balance] American Marder counter.

Just played two games with a buddy against the expert PE AI. Talk about Marder spam. Needless to say we got owned both times. I was infantry and he was armour. Things were going generally alright till those Marders showed up, and pretty much took out all the Quads, and AT guns, and Pershing(s), and bases. What is the American counter to these things that won't get chewed up so quickly?

If you were infantry, then rangers would do the trick. AP rounds for the mg work, and sticky bombs if you have to. Anything mechanized should stay away from it like the plague (well, maybe not the m8...).

rangers perhaps. they seem to be the counter to everything atm.

M10's are rather effective against Marders, as long as you can flank and spin round it, its turn speed is pretty low, so it can't reacquire a target fast enough.

Uhuh... Rangers do seem to be alright... but they can't kill them quickly enough. Thats my prob.

ive seen rangers roll over mp-44 assault grenadiers, i was like woh nelly! XD.

You can kill one marder with a stuart light tank just circleing them. Against PE you need the PIAT and some mines. Flanking is crucial.
Please play some humans. You will see that its better to understand the game. ( heck play at least 10 1vs1 with your friend and try stuff out instead of getting owned by AI ) :awesome: Play mixed armies. Lets say US/Brits vs PE/Wehr...in that case you have alot more diversity to play with.
In fact i think the mixed matchups are the best. Just play more and dont judge on 2 games vs. the AI.

Still the americans have the best AT in game....stickys pretty much do the deal on any early PE vehicle. But i cant really tell what the AI spams since i like to play the humans better...they make mistakes and suprise me more...
