Yeah, nuff said i guess

www.coh-stats.com (http://www.coh-stats.com)

finally found a PC in the library that worked ok... so here you go, everything you need to know about the open beta... ability, weapons, units, general information... etc...

hopefully this will reduce the amount of "what does this button do?" type questions, so we can all focus on balance related discussions that matters.

btw, if a page title and its content dont match, DONT FREAK OUT, all i have to do is fix the title... alot of stuff are still being modified, and not all sections are finished, check the progress to find out whats still outdated or being fixed. KEY contents are done...

check the abilities/weapons indexes if you are getting broken links from the unit stats page, again things SHOULD be there, just might take sometime to get to for now

Sturmtruppen: Good job!

And again, I wonder why there are no differences in ANY of the Panzer Grenadier troops. If you are floating munitions, which seems most likely in OF, just build the default ones and upgrade them instead of spending the additional manpower. I looked at this before with Corsix and thought I might be missing something. You show the same thing...

The higher manpower tank hunters are ment to have some kind of tank counter if u have not enough map control and get no munitions.

In every game I've played, no matter the amount of map control, I've always had way more munitions to spare than manpower.

Well, cool. Then you have a choice. Maybe you prefer to lay a ton of teller mines around instead, or spam incindiary mortars and nades, and want to pay the extra manpower cost for equipped squads.

It's a flexibility thing. Makes sense to me.

Can Fallschirms camouflage like storms actually???

fldash

I'm not saying it doesn't make sense, it allows flexibility, but players not knowing any different are certainly going to think the units are better and kill their manpower if they aren't careful.

you need to be in cover, and not doing anything for a few seconds before they go into camo

I wonder why anybody complains about Fallschirms low health when they actually have 5 points more than pgren. Seems to be a pretty good all around unit.

Sturmtruppen
31st Aug 07, 9:21 AM
because storms has "i think" 35 more hp per man than fallshims

oh yes, true. PE infantry is basically more fragile than wehrmacht. i wonder why everybody says they fight the british better than wehrmacht units.

I wonder what a croc will do to them....

Great work Sturmtruppen! Your site stays the first choice for any unit-specific questions :)

wow what exactly is the reason to use the gehewr exactly. Terrible weapon to upgrade to.

Sturmtruppen

fires faster IIRC, more accuracy

You really need to put a section on the site detailing the effects of wind up/wind down, cool down, etc. It's pretty damn complicated, I have no idea how to really judge the infantry weapons. They look very similar to me.

If you already have that on the site, my apologies. I need to work on my reading comprehension.

Seems to be a method of balancing resource expenditure. You either upgrade PGs for AI duty with MUN and spend more MP on Shrek troops; or the other way around.

yes, sound like u have lots of flexibility. PE seems to be a good for quick thinkers ;)

Thanks Sturm. This helps explain why the Brit officers are so incredibly WTFPWN, esp with level 2 vet. Nasty!!
