Yeah im pretty buggered about this. I wasn't even informed that the patch wasnt released for steam until about the third try to verify my game cache. I could have been sleeping! Or ending world hunger!

Doubt it's steam's fault. Steam fanboism before relic fanboism, as I always say.

Either way, real shoddy work for not saying anything about it relic. There was nothing on the steam forums that clearly said it, and of course, steam tech support doesn't like getting sued, so they link us to your tech support. THQ tech support is basically a hole in the wall where programmers toss random FAQ questions that I'm sure they recieve every couple of decades.

Get. Tech. Support.

Don't call a couple guys with an email address tech support. Don't call a phone line that hooks up to bob's secretary tech support either. Nowhere was it stated that steam would update later. By anyone.

Anyways, since I could've been ending world hunger during this retarded patching process (still haven't. in case you're concerned), I've come to the conclusion that this patch is the direct cause of world hunger.

There is a need to yell. I have no info, and no ones helping me. I can't play a game I paid for, and dont know when I wil be able to.

Insted of teling me not to yell , how about getting us some usefull info.

(in a soft voice) thanks

Steam's 'Coming Soon' section now lists OF as a release before the end of the month. I guess, at worst it'll be four more days?

For christ sake it's like a bad trip to the dentist to try and get an answer out of someone from Relic. What is up with support for you customers through steam. Why is this update for vCOh not available to us yet.

Give me a freaking break and give us a strait answer. How hard can it be!

I can understand technical problems, but what I can't understand is the silence. Dang, I always thought Steam was a better and easier way to distribute content and keep it updated.

I don't own vCOH Steam but this is currently a disaster and I feel sorry for those of you with COH on Steam that can't play and have yet to get an official response, even if it's just to say they are working as fast as they can to get it to you.

Well I WAS going to buy COH: OF but this threatment from both Relic/THQ and steam of utter silence has made me come to the decision that the expansion ain't worth the money with the support given by all the parties.
Neither Relic/THQ or steam apperently feels it's appropiate to even respond to it's customers so Relic/THQ is on my blacklist of companies I don't feel like dealing with and for surtain I won't be buying anything on steam anymore.
They have really shown their true nature in this matter.

I know neither of them care about my money but at least thats my rights as a customer to choose who I do business with.
