Caen: Into the City

Operation Charnwood. The 7th of July. 500 airplanes are dropping bombs on Caen to soften the Axis defenses. After the bombardment, 3rd Battalion must move in, secure the area, and set up a base of operations from which to seize the city.

Make saving B-Coy a top priority as you get two free crocs. Then, get together and few mortars (the ones that drop not the static ones you build) and take advantage of the fact that the AI wont attack you unless you start capping points. Clear the city, THEN cap the points. Makes it much easier. Overwatch is useless dont bother with it.

Send commando and 2-3 mortars to save B-company.
Before finishing saving B-company(kill all marked enemy units or get to the point for this rescue action), make sure to use all population.
Build 105mm howitzer ASAP, to destroy enemy's 3 150mm rocket battery.
Move tank around to find enemy positions then use mortar/AT to destroy them.
