Where Do i put the Files?

I extracted the ****.big files but I dont know where to put them. I cant start the game at all. Note I using the Retail Version. And I cant seem to get the winamp to play music files. Anyone know.

Are you trying to get winamp to play HW2 music files, or just music in general?

Currently i dont think you can extract and edit the big files, and then put them in the same directory and have them overight :P

I know how to get ship by changing persist.lua files ...I was trying to get the ATTACKDROID into the mothership production Line. DAm cant adapt it into the MS. Think by changing the interceptor and teak it with the lace fighter weapon and Whola Cool Keeper Attackdroid. Getting more Dragnaught Is not a problem. I like those Keeper Attackdroid LOL..Dam shame they dont play a BIG part in the game.

.big path should be homeworld2/data/big contents

Get rid of the homeworld2.big bit it generates when extracting. Ive managed to break a battlecruisers turrets so far, but nothing spectacular :p

Dont Quite Get what your saying are U saying I should have the homeworld dir in data etc: C:\Hw2\Data\Homeworld\ then those subdir Ai,Animatic,Art or C:\Hw2\data\Ai dir then Animatic Dir... I try that the game wont load. Also try with C:\Hw2\data\homeworld.big\ then all those subfolders.

C:\Homeworld2\Data\ship for example

Imagine \data\ is the .big file, now every file inside the .big will live inside \data\ instead of the .big.
