Question About Webway Gates

What happens if a squad of eldar is in a webway gate but they all get destroyed?

Does that Eldar squad end up in a never-ending limbo or does something else happen?

I think he's refering to in DoW, not in fluff. In DoW I believe the Eldar unit just pops out as if it was in a transport that was destroyed.

It's rare you'd have a situation where ALL the webways were destroyed when you still had troops waiting to be deployed anyways..... i believe if that happens they are dumped in the same nature as a destroyed transport

It's so simple to lab this.. just start a skirmish, make a Guardian Squad while the Bonesinger builds a Webway Gate, send the Guardians in and destroy it. Then come and tell us what happened. :D

If the webway gates are destroyed while squads are in them. they will automatically be ejected when the last one is blown up.

It's funny when that happens. I was talking to a friend on the phone as I played with him online, and his yelp of horror as an entire squad cap full of guardians ambushed him from a concealed webway portal was priceless.
