Whats the situation with playing a ranked game and you get kicked. This guy was losing and decided to kick me cause he was losing.
Who gets the win?
This problem needs to be fixed though

It partially already is. When you get kicked the game goes by your trust rating. As long as you don't kick people and your connection is stable you *should* get a win. I mean last time i was kicked from a ranked game i got a win for it anyway.

Trust Rating?
I don't think you get a win or loss for it. I'm not sure what the other guy gets.

Can work the other way around though, sometimes he can be lagging but his end will say that your lagging giving him the option of kicking you.

but its peer to peer game so in 1v1 game you can lag on purpose and kick the other guy cause its impossible for the game to determine who is really lagging :)

Yeah but this problem has been fixed since OF. The new trust system works wonders. I got kicked the other day (I never lag and people often compliment my ping + perf) and I got the win.

Exactly.

It's like the Tooth Fairy, or Santa Claus. You just have to believe in it.

If you get involved in a gamewhere the system has to decide who won because connection has been lost for any reason it is counted as a dispute and all players get one added to their total.
When the system decides who won a match it takes into account all the players trust ratings. This trust rating is a combination of your number of disputes and a complex formula no one but the programmers know in detail.
In practise what it seems to mean is that individuals get the benifit of the doubt the first couple of times they try anything dodgy. After that they get found out and always lose. It's not perfect but it is pretty effective in practise.
Ceejayozz put it best ages ago 'your disputes total is a measure of how irritating you are to play against'
The guy who did the programming is called cryogen and if you want to know more do a search on that name because he posted on how it works when it was first implemented.

Last week, i had a similar experience in a ranked game. Except this time, i kicked the other guy and i 'won', but no cigar?
It was a ranked game, i was brit and my opposition was PE. He was lagging for a while, and it eventually timed him down (catch up seconds). I was asked if i wanted to kick him, 'sure', he was kicked and i won. Or atleast i think he was kicked.
Anyways, the game said i was victorious, which is great on my behalf. A few minutes later, i checked my stats and it said i was defeated!? At this point i questioned who was the winner,
'surely i was the winner, it said i was victorious'. Dumbfounded, i got over it and sarged on.
Now that i look back on it, does anyone have a plausible answer?

Why did you kick him?

On 1on1 this is big problem becuase you arent sure if the other guy is the one with honor to play or he has no balls and will kick you. Still in 2on2 it is possible that your mate will kick you too.

It was a 1v1 ranked match. My opponent had around 580 ping, as far as memory serves.
Like any other Coh player, i didnt want a laggy match. We've all been there and know how sucky it can get, so why not kick him?
Anyhow, it must be a bug or something.
