Checking up on how many of us would be interested in a Relic Boards H2 Get Together. Would just play games, get to know each other better etc, find who's the best H2 player.
Would be sometime in the next few weeks, on a weekend, so we can match up timeframes from around the world.

I could play. I can't come late on Sunday, though.

As long as no higgy pig bastard rushes torpedo frigates onto my resourcers I am in(its the lamest tactic I've seen).
Ah, once again I get to suck at people until they loose.
HW2 is always fun.
Seriously, get your abbreviations right. H2 is Halo 2.

I've seen H2 as Half Life 2, Halo 2, Homeworld 2, and several other games that have the letter 'H' to start with and the number 2 in it. I think we all know what he's talking about though, BmB.
I'd be glad to join in on the fun, once I install HW2 on this computer. I need a date and time before I can be certain I can show up, though.

Midterms are Feb 6. For me, so nothing a week before or after that date, so either around Feb 15/16/17 or Jan 18/19/20.

As long as it ain't 10 AM in Australia or any other country with GMT +/- 12 I can do any hour (after 13:45 GMT +2).
Starblade, that would be HL2, H2 and HW2 respectively. Every game has a distinct abbreviation. Learn them. There's a reason we call Supcom Supcom instead of SC, because SC is StarCraft.

BmB, not everyone uses them like that (I'm not saying that I myself don't; I do use them in the way you described), in case you've never noticed. H2 would be useable for Homeworld 2 because 'Homeworld' is a single word (honestly, that makes more sense, too, come to think of it). Regardless, it is offtopic. If you would like to discuss it further PM me instead.
I'll see what I can do, depends on how my schedule turns out. But I'll join up if I can

I'd love to join in if it's held sometime after this Sunday. I have played Homeworld 2 online a grand total of once but I enjoy the game and would love to join in. I imagine I'd be rubbish in a 1v1 but if a teammate would coach me a bit I'm certain I could keep up fairly well.
Long time no see, Magus.

Been playing Complex 6.1 these past few days, its really got my Homeworld hunger up, I want to play with some humans! the cpus are either cheaters or morons(or both). Anyone up for a game(with the Complex mod)?

Easily countered by a simple gravity well module, which you should have up early on in the game, before anyone even has frigates and hyperspace modules. Of course, if your recon works, you don't need to build the gravwells early on if your enemy doesn't happen to be using this tactic.

I'd be in on a complex game. Gets fun late in when you have several hundred ships flying around.
