Tiny Mod...

I was mostly just playing around with some files and came up with a small mod that adds a 'Projenator' race, with corresponding ships and some strange research I found. It doesn't effect the singleplayer campaign at all and I'm not sure about multiplayer...

If anyone is interested in attaining this mod... well.... I need a file host.... :lol:

The foundary ship would be cool as a progenitor mothership. It would also be sweet to have the Bentusi as a playable race. I played around with the BigRed and Bentus ships but couldn't find any hardpoints to add weapons or subsystems.

Hmm... I think I'll try messing around with the foundry, I like the idea of it being the mothership.

I would have done something with the bentusi but they only have 1 ship in the game!! ARGH! It'll take a little more work for the bentusi..

BTW, the ships and research of the Projenators is very unbalanced and there is no resourcing involved(you start with RUs).

you could just import the Bentusi from the other two games (so you would get the bentusi city ship, the bentus, the super-acolites, and the transports). I supose you could improv. a few more.


arn't the planet kills in M15 bentusi is design? have them be some sort of uber defense platform. You could even use that station you see a few times durring SP as the bentusi MS, just... 'bentusi-fi' it :nod:

foundry ship is the one that they tell you about breaking up 10,000 years ago... the one in which the hyperspace cores were forged, and the on in which you find the dreadnaught... all part of the same ship..

The planet killers are 'similar' to bentusi design, origins unknown.

Meg_Foundry is a large hulk in the karos graveyard, part of that big Projenator ship. I'm gonna use it as the Projenator mothership in my mod.

Note that Trillian is bugged to hell, at least when working with MSN Messenger. I'd suggest not using it for that, as it has a tendency to not have your stuff show up a lot of times, as well as other things. Use MSN for MSN and Trillian for ICQ and AIM or something, but don't use it for MSN.

ICQ is evil.....everytime I run it, my adaware program goes nuts because ICQ tries to edit your registry everytime you use it.....god only knows why.....well god and the people who put the spyware into ICQ.

yes, apollyon, most ppl did :-p the mojority of us believe that the planetkillers are found by makaan, discovered to be immune, and since they were immune, Makaan didnt care about anything else... just put a buncha ADWs on them and TADA!

me thinks that there IS a relation between the Bentusi and the T-Mat...
