As it seems the AI isn't going to get any useful improvements in time for 2.4, please consider reverting dropped allies to direct control instead of AI control. The AI is terrible to the point of uselessness. It will move support weapons directly into fire, un-garrison good defencive set-ups, spam pointless units, attack one unit at a time, etc. It makes any game with a dropped ally an auto-loss. Even if you were dominating up to that point, the AI is so stupid it take turn the game around for the other team.

Please give us back direct control of dropped allies.

They are improving the AI... if they improve it enough it wont be a big deal.

I agree.
They should give other teammembers direct controll when someone dropped but in vCOH the teamplayers got their PP reduced after someone in team dropped, that should be changed... they also should get more Manpower income or something to bring back some balance in game

err no? your income/popcap doubles when AI takes over, all resources/popcaps are carried over and not lost, when a human take over, no matter how good he may be, 90% of the resources are lost, he also get stuffed with a bunch of units which usually maxes out his popcap

i rather have shitty AI than a seriously crippled team

I want to have some kind of decision ingame if you want AI or player control.

Manual control is easily fixed if they keep the dropped players resources separate like Warcraft 3 does.

This isn't beta related, and the chances of you getting some kind of definitive answer here are probably slim to none.

Kindly address the issue either in one of the main CoH subsections more appropriate to the topic, or, probably better still, make a note in the wiki page (http://wiki.relicrank.com/index.php?title=Community_Bug_List) on the matter, which will at least mean that someone from relic will, at some point, probably read it.

The beta section is intended for discussion of beta related stuff exclusively, since if we allowed wishlists and request threads that aren't directly related to the beta, we'd be drowned under a bunch of threads that already exist in various forms throughout the forum, and the actual beta discussion would get shouted over.
