Squad Sizes

So now that everyone is hyped up about DoW2. Now in the DoW2 thread (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=187006) there was some talk of only 6 squads being used, at least in campaign. Now, lets just say 6 squads is all we get, if thats the case, how big is each races squads? Someone mentioned Orkz having 30 or so "Boyz" in each squad. So what about the other races?

If we go by table top

10 men per marine squad
30 per ork squad
Depends on the squad for Eldar
20 for CSM
Nids would be 32 I believe.


I really don't think the squads will be numbered that way though, cept for marines.

ok, in my Imperial Guard codex, a platoon is made out of 2-5 squads with 9 Guardsmen and one sergeant in one squad. A company is made out of 2-6 infantry platoons.

A platoon of Guardsmen is nothing but 2-3 platoons will be something though.

TT squad numbers are an arbitary value for TT game balance, though they might be close, expecting DoW2 to follow them exactly is a little premature. Theres nothing to discuss here other than "wait and see for new info", and the 6 units thing is being discussed in the main thread.
