Custom Maps

I know for me at least, I spent nearly all my time playing custom maps on star craft, instead of the regular online game. I got bored of it rather fast, but with all the custom maps people were making, and with all their innovation and creative ideas, it kept SC alive for a long time for me, I spent years playing only custom maps, and if it didn't have that feature, I would have probably only spent a few months top with it.

Just wondering, what is everyones views on Custom Maps for DoW2? I could imagine a lot of fun maps that could have been for DoW, especially with scripting/triggers.

I think this will be locked, no info has been released about mod tools so this will be 'pointless speculation. Of course custom mapping will be in it though....every rts ever has had custom maps.

A thread (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=188794) already exists about the map editor for DoW2, the tool which would be used to make custom maps. Additionally, if you aren't aware there is actually an active mapping section (http://forums.relicnews.com/forumdisplay.php?f=137) of the Dawn of War modding forums that you could check out for some really interesting custom maps for the current game.

Please use the existing thread for discussion of what you'd like to see possible for custom maps in Dawn of War 2. Thread locked.
