Well, I have no big discussion for this. But I think "Recoiless Rifles" are to heavy. After nerfing Rangers, I think it's time to nerf the Paratroopers.
While you can't stop them with infantry (button up) and they're "owning" all vehicles except the very heavy ones with only 100 Munitions it's pretty much unfair - not at least because this whole doctrine is even without them an AT-Doctrine.
Dropping them everywhere, giving them granades and heavy TNT, giving them button UP and this insane Recoiless Rifles makes them actually the most OPed thing, against tanks, emplacements and tanks. Counter? only Propaganda! In one game, I sent them home via propaganda (4 Squads, vet 1 -2) and sent a V1: The half of them survived. You should have seen my face ...
Increase popcap or higher the price for recoiless rifles (like 140 - 150 munitions). Bigger cooldown for button up. I don't know ...
I understand, these guys build the base for Airborne Doctrine, but they are too heavy.
What do U think?

At 125 munitions they're priced high enough, but they are simply too accurate as it is. They have such a pathetically low scatter angle that even if you roll a missed shot, there is a good chance you could hit. If nothing else, they need to increase the scatter angle of the RR.

Did you just say RRs have a low scatter?
I died laughing.

Why yes, I did. Because compared to other infantry based AT they do.
Panzershreck - 15.
Bazooka - 20.
RR - 5.
Looks pretty low don't it?

fireup got nerfed,
from other side paras cant deal with infantry.
"mighty" tnt>>>it can be used only to blast wehr bunkers and immobilised vehicles.
As for me, paras are good now.

I would always been on the "RR's are fine" side but tbh, they do hit an aweful lot and the fact that they penetrate all the time makes up for the poor dammage. Maybe the scatter changed to 10 would be a small adjustment with big rewards.
Hi stumpster!

Were it not for the fact that a calculated miss on an RR will phase right through its target I might agree with you, stumpster.

Seconded. Scatter to 10 and lets see how it plays out in the beta.

RRs do weaker damage compared to Panzerschrecks and Bazookas. It also costs 125 munitions to upgrade them. RRs ghost through units all the time.

Ah, I thought it only had that stupid 'LOLPHASETHROUGH' thing against the armored cars. If it's against all targets then that really needs to be fixed first before anything. I mean, they fixed the Shreck fazing problem against Shermans a long time ago, isn't this generally the same thing?

Then phasing should be fixed also. Pretty much like the Schreck bug back in vCoH days.
Ah, u named it stumpster :)

If anything should be changed maybe it should be penetrate but then again I think there fine.

It happens most often against light vehicles, but I've seen it happen to things like StuGs and Panzer IVs as well.

The problem i see is not the paras themselves, but when theres a bunch of them together.. it is kind of like many other things in this game. By itself its not Op but when people start to get more of them.. they start to steam roll. Watch how easily a bunch of paras cut through panthers, right through the frontal armor... one or 2 squads are not bad.. 4 or more and if you arent terror doc, and its a team game and theres brit to hold down your tanks, could be in for some hurt cause of how fast they kill all vehicles.

Recoilless haven't been touched in the beta except to be upgraded in enemy territory, which has little to do with your point, and this isn't a suggestion forum.
I can only presume you forgot that section of the rules that you read at the top of the page. You did read the section rules, right?
