Its going to be tough to top #18, but oh well. On this cast SomeBloke visits us after taking a short vacation from casting to check out a replay one of his clan mates sent us.

Description: Once again the German's favorite training area is being attacked by Allied forces! SomeBloke returns to watch his fellow clan mate SpearOfBellerophon take on TWO Tank Hunter Panzer Elite commanders with a random partner. Can the British dig in and put the hurt on Jerry? Or will the double Tank Hunters bring too much hurt too quickly? Watch and find out!

Also, no its not just you, PE can't win any games, never ever, especially against Brits. Its designed that way. :rolleyes:

No, but it would be entertaining and helpful if it was different. You can't exactly learn anything nor enjoy it if your side constantly loses.

***WARNING SPOILERS*** watch b4 u read.

dont get me wrong, they werent bad players but they wasted so much stuff ,they wasted marders, the at halftrack, a few infantry units, the jagd, their mortar was idle for the most part. ther ketten was idle early game that could have been kept back for repair duty as they were AT doc. or could have capp vp up top. i was cringing and shouting get in the Fricking trench when they had that attack mid game, they could have won the game there but wasted time and men dancing around dieing when they could have been given invincibility in the trench, this happened on there second attack as well they could have won then aswell but didnt get in the fricking trench, there 3rd time they actually went in but by that time they had nothing and allie shad commandos nearby, he could have got out the trench and back in to avoid nade damage but he didnt. they had so many chances to win the game but threw it away, also they teched up to panters when that money should have gone onto more men e.g 4 men squads and another mortar halftrack or ber-tiger to res corpses. the brits held on well, arty was good blobs were effective and the fireflys came out at a much needed time. over all the brits were the better team. axis started off well but couldn’t raise their game so to speak.

the axis should have won that by mid game when they had their pivists out and the british couldn't put up 17pounders. i thought it was going to be over at that point, but then the replay was only half over, so i knew something had to go wrong. then the marders came out and i thought to myself, "there's no way the british will come back." somehow, the british's churchill comes by and eliminates a marder (unsupported and at close range) and then the pe start sacrificing their tanks and vehicles to 2 17pounders. once the 17pounders were up, the british had a foothold and were able to get some forces to attack the enemy.

i personally thought that it was a messy game for both sides, but it was still very enjoyable to watch. nice job hell-fox.

And I just have to say, stop sending panzershrecks at infantry! haha, I can't believe how many people do that. I found some seriously poor micromanagement with the PE. One example which bugs the hell out of me is when he assaults the base with the blob of panzershrecks and g43's and the artillery is called down on him, he retreats the blob rather than throwing the panzershrecks into the trench. The trench would have protected the infantry from the arty and the arty would have created some protection from the churchhill moving in. :banghead:

Thanks for the compliments guys, always tells us we are doing something right. Anyway I have been working on my Skin pack compilation and right now I am torn between two skins, the Panzer Grenadier skin I have been using before by Doctor Lee or Black Label's PG variant using a more urban-esque camo fatigues.



I know some people can say that Doctor Lee's current PG from his WIP skin pack makes the PG look a little formal out in the middle of combat (least from what I can tell, its the one with formal-looking fatigues with camo helm and pants). Black Label's adds some combat ruggedness but the problem I have with it is the odd eagle symbol he put in on the arms, it stretches in weird ways when the PG moves his arms (just a nitpick). Also as nice as the new pattern is, I'm worried its clashing with the rest of the units in PE. I mean I can grow accustomed to it, and it certainly would make Panzer Grenadiers more rugged.

I'll let you guys be the judge, I also may just keep both around to be able to swap, as they are both good quality with no glaring problems.

PS: I know there are other PG skins out there, problem is I found that they have a glaring bug in them or I can't get them to work.

I'll be making a video response to my old skin pack showing off the new looks. Its not just the PG's that are getting a face lift ;-).

The skin I REALLY want for the PG's though is still being worked on by Doctor Lee but it would mesh well with the rest of the PE

Why are Doctor Lee´s Variants both SS troops?
I would go with Black Label´s version just because of this. (Nothing political i just don´t like seeing everything associated with the SS)

Hell Fox. Definitely go for Doctor Lee's skins. The fully cammed one looks the best along with the fully grey battledress. Black Label's are nice but ingame the colours would stand out less, in which case you could mistake them from 'just another soldier squad'. I would personally like the full cammo.

Noob question: Is it custom sound? Because the germans doesn't speak english witch accent, they speak german in the Replay. :O

I think, isn't that the original German soundset delivered in the German version of the game? I've had it for a while, there's probably a file lingering around somewhere. All you had to do was replace the axis sound file in the Company of Heroes directory. Search for... WW2AxisSpeech. That should do.

Edit: In regards to the actual videocast which I forgot to comment entirely, I must say you and somebloke is a very good combination. What I missed a little in the last videocast was that there was no analysis of what could be done, or what tactics they were attempting. I think you two complement very well, with you Hellfox commenting what's going on and Somebloke going on about the other stuff. Also like someblokes voice.
