I want to use COH for machinima making but I cant take any in game footage because of all the "game" colors in the game like the selection circles around units and buildings, the text on the side of the screen etc... I was wondering if anybody released any mods that can remove all that or if nobody did how can I remove it all?
I know that I have to edit some attributes using Corsix's mod Studio but I really dont know how to use the tool even when I try to edit any of the attributes it does not let me save the changes.
any help will be very appreciated!
thanks

You could use occlusion mod. (weapons range) But about that circles, I don't know.

Couldn't you just create them using nis? Would give you better control over what you want to see though would be more work in the short term as you learn how to use it.

yeah I agree with you I am pretty good with NIS but I think NIS is limited , like for example you cant destroy buildings in NIS only certain walls where in game you can actually destroy structures.

Amen brotha, i have tried hard to find completely destructable buildings in NIS but i cant find any, if you want ill look and see if i can find the little circles, and see how to get rid of them, although i could have swore their was a mod for VCoH that did that......

I think there is a console command for it. Look through the ones when in developer (-dev) mode, one should be ui_something and remove them.
I am sure I checked this out ages ago, but can't find the appropriate file or note on it, sorry!

well you could play the game i.e skirmish multiplayer, go over the script in the pre game lobby, play the match following the script, save the replay, watch the replay with the taskbar off(there is an option for it) and then film it, thats all i could think of.

Get BuckyBoys cheat mod "shift+f2" gets rid of everything. Then use the occlusion mod or change every unit to no_occlusion. Also with cheat mod you can turn off ai to build your set ;) Heres some code that Buckyboy helped me with to change the Field of View, it basically simulates different lenses.
bind("Control+1","Camera_SetTuningValue(TV_FieldOfView, 60)")
bind("Control+2","Camera_SetTuningValue(TV_FieldOfView, 45)")
bind("Control+3","Camera_SetTuningValue(TV_FieldOfView, 20)")
bind("Control+4","Camera_SetTuningValue(TV_FieldOfView, 16)")
bind("Control+5","Camera_SetTuningValue(TV_FieldOfView, 12)")
bind("Control+6","Camera_SetTuningValue(TV_FieldOfView, 6)")
bind("Control+7","Camera_SetTuningValue(TV_FieldOfView, 1)")
bind("Control+8","Camera_SetTuningValue(TV_FieldOfView, 90)")
paste the code in notepad then name it "autoexec.lua" put it in your CoH directory folder.
