View Full Version : Problems and THQ wont reply to me until monday...

New here, so sorry if i have posted in the wrong place.
I install COH and COH opposing fronts and download the first patch. The patch installs and all is well. I got to do the second patch and as soon as i click to download it, (still in the COH game), It says that it is already done and exits the game to apply it. Then when i try to install it here an error comes up and i cannot install it. I try again and again the same way, but keep getting the error. I am asking you wise ones becuase i really wanna play on COH today, i uninstalled it a while ago to wait for my new comp, now i have it i cant even play!
Somebody please help!!!

Might be a weird question but it might help if we knew which country you lived in, as I know that the Australian version of Opposing Fronts had a problem with patching (so THQ released an Australian version which solved the problem, from memory that was for v2.001 or whatever the first patch was).

Im in the UK. I am unsure of what version, but it is 144mb in size approx.

uninstall the game, reinstall it, download the patch executables through your web browser and apply them manually

Well it would be handy to know what patch version your on. So if you've been using the Patch Downloader go to My Documents->My Games->Company of Heroes->Patch, and there should be a bunch of downloaded patches. Obviously post the latest version patch in your folder here so I can figure out what patch version your on at the moment.
If that doesn't work disallow RelicCoH access to the internet through your firewall and start the game and insert your DVD to validate the media. Then once it goes to the main menu look down near the bottom of the screen and it should list which patch your currently using (eg: 2.301).
I normally use the website below for downloading patches, the ingame Patch Download can be weird for me sometimes when it comes to downloading patches.
