Hey, has anyone ever thought of putting in a French faction? Thought it would be a good idea. :-\

Maybe you can copy the US and make a Free France .I've already created the Armor Vehicles for FFRA look here (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=202350)
A very easy way although is to make the US skin to look like the Free France because in this period they used mostly US clothes so is easy just to change the insignia and reskin the Ranger to Marines but the problem is the Airborne as they haven't had airborne Div.

i think it would be quite hard to think of a unique tech tree for the Free French since most of their equipment were either British or American.

Agree and the fact is that some US equipment wasn't used by FFRA like M-48 which is fought late and on limited numbers in W.Germany. They only known Armor which the FFRA used was: Sherman (75mm),M-10,Willie,STAGHOUND(limitted numbers),GREYHOUND,M-2,M-3,M-7 and M-24.
I almost made a Free french Army. I had it planned that you could use the British Doctrine (their vehicles and aid), American Doctrine (Their Vehicles and aid), and german doctrine (basically harassment, stealing their vehicles, capturing their ammo dumps). Stuff like that. I shut that idea down though, a long time ago.

Me don't like Frenchies to much but I'm taking them to account for my Mod (I'm planing to make a mod that makes french resistance units available for either the Yanks or Brits in skirmish-multiplayer) Since they DID make their Marks on the Germans (though i don't want them to be a full race) K?

Frenchies? I don't see them having enough of their own equipment of "uniqueness" for them to get their own faction, maybe a call-in for a doctrine in one faction? It's the same conundrum as Australian and NZ forces, there's simply not enough uniqueness about them to warrant their own faction, and even having their own original doctrine would be hard to come up with.
