What? No thread on this yet? Do you people only care about getting drunk?
Well, name says it all. In good manners I will start with my new years resolution. I want to get a job. I'm 17 and have had NO luck searching. If all else fails, I'm just going to be a young entepreneur and start some business of my own.
Also, I bloody want to reduce stress. I've been really bothered by a mass of things lately; It's killing me and I'm losing sleep and spending an undue amount of time feeling like crap.
And third...to buy Matt Furey's Combat Conditioning book. I have to obtain this book.

My (and every New Years) resolution is to not do something majorly stupid in life. Do what I have to do and get a move on. Easy enough.
And for the most part my resolution holds up. :)

Well that's a nice resolution. Simple but effective.

Also with your stress thingy. I've found some research that proves that, the more sleep you get, the more efficient you are at accomplishing your tasks. You might want to try that out, might help with your stress. Good luck with it. :)

Resolution: get stuff sorted the fuck out. 2008 has been the shittiest year of my life to date, interspersed with really cool stuff. I just want to get stable and in a position where I can afford to have a bit of fun without worrying whether I'll be able to afford a travelcard the next day.
Also, go to a country I haven't been to yet, even if it's just on a rubbish 3 day touristy thing.
And exercise. Of course. I'm a tad flabby :(

Now that my damn car is paid off I want to get back out of my parent house while taking 18 credit hours per semester. Though I'm more willing to do this once I transfer to University.
Also I want to see if I can lose another 20lbs, brining my grand total to 100lbs total weight lost.
I see very little point in making New Year's resolutions. They never succeed, and there is always something that goes wrong every year.I see very little point in making New Year's resolutions. They never succeed, and there is always something that goes wrong every year.
With that kind of attitude there's no point in making any kind of plans.

True but my resolution is pretty good. It's been very solid. There usually isn't something major that happens in a year where you completely screw up your life.

Make a serious effort in spending more time investing this year while I still live tax and bill free. Less leisure products and goods for me this year. My goal is a 20% increase in what I have set aside now, and it would be good to meet that goal to soften the blow college is going to deal me . :p

my resolution is to keep having hope that people would consider looking for threads on the same topic before starting new ones.
we currently have 2 new years threads open and another one that was locked mentioning that we had 2 other new years threads open.
