what's the button for reverse?

Is there a hotkey for ordering your vehicles to reverse/move backwards, and if so, what is it? Thanks.

You don't have a button for that just simply hold down the left mouse button when issuing a move order and move the mouse, you'll see an arrow which shows where the unit will face. It's like setting up heavy weapons.

EDIT: Sorry, I wasn't aware that you can use it, just asking for a hotkey. Still I'll leave my post intact, so that the ones who don't know may use the info.

I know but the issue is retreating while facing forward. In CoH if you mouseclicked close enough behind your vehicle, it would move back without turning, but in this game that doesn't seem to work that well. We really need a reverse command.

Doesn't work for me. Used to CoH style vehicles, but I haven't been able to make anything reverse yet.

Actually, I'm ok with no reverse, if that's what they've done. Makes vehicle positioning more delicate instead of ram and reverse tactics. But if there is reverse then I'd prefer there to be a key than a fiddly click.

It works fine for me, with tanks at least, just by right clicking behind them like in CoH. In fact it seems to work better than in CoH as you can click further away from the vehicle and it'll still reverse rather than turn around.

Some vehicles can't reverse though, such as the Eldar gravtanks. I don't know the full list of vehicles that can and can't reverse, I'll go test it now and find out.

Edit: Yes only the gravtanks and walkers can't reverse, everything else (Razorback, Predator, Wartrukk, Looted Tank) can.

It seems like only wheeled and tracked vehicles can reverse. Anti-grav vehicles and walkers will turn around.
