Hi, I've got a question, how do you quick select units with the keyboard? I know you can make groups with CONTROl+1,2,3, etc. and that "1" is the General, but many times I want to quick select my Assault Marines to Jump and I have to go manually with the mouse to the up right corner and click em, i think is pretty slow many times.

So is there any way to quick select one unit based on the order they are shown in the UI? And another thing too please, how do you add a unit to a group? In other games SHIFT+1 (the group number) would add a unit to that group, but here is not working for me and it must be a way to add a Dreadnought to a group of Hero+Assault Marines without having to select them all and press Control+1.

Thank You

Ditto. ttt

I would love a key to select the displayed unit in a control group.
Say group 4 is rippers, with two rippers in it.
I want to hold a button (say alt) and have my attack order apply to only the first ripper swarm, then press 4, tab (to select the second) and press a button to make it attack a differnt target.

Tab tab's through the individuals, but I don't know how to select them so that only they respond to orders without double clicking their unit icon.

Maybe I am missing something .. but it looks like Relic did go back to the wc3 (and probably dow1?) style, where you can only activate the abilities of a selected unit in a group. Instead of actually allowing us to control single units from a selection like they did in CoH, which are selected with the tab key. That's something I don't really understand, since I think CoH was quite perfect in that part.

And I believe it makes using cover near impossible for selected groups .. the only way I see at the moment, to place units exactly where you want them, is to either hotkey one unit per number .. or select them with the mouse if they are already in a bigger control group.
