i downloaded the game via steam to my HDD the other day, in anticipation of playing a good RTS again, and have encountered one really annoying problem.
firstly my specs,
dual core intel E2220 2.4Ghz
2GB of ram
Geforce BFG 9600GT OC
what happens is, i try to load the game, and the entrance cinematic is very choppy, and takes ages to run. the audio is out of sync also.
the first thing i did after noticing this wouldn't go away is check here for an answer. i did:
1. set it to only 1 core, so see if it had issues with my dual core.
2. turned all my GFX settings to low.
3. disabled the entrance cinematic.
none of these work for me. the menu is really really slow and takes a good few clicks to do anything, i cant even get to the game because it took me 20mins just to log in to games for windows live.
i have no idea what is causing this, and cannot seem to find the answer here.
any help would be greatful.
