Just a quick one, i know the bertiger can repair a wreck, even of a once call in unit like a jagdpanther
Is there a easy way once you killed a high value unit like this to mangle the wreck so it can't be salvaged?

You can destroy it by shooting at it (attack ground option) with tanks or any AT-weapon, also Airborne-satchels will work.

I believe you can also crush it with heavy tanks, no? Like a Churchill or a M4 croc with buldozer etc.

"Normal" wrecks yes, but the wreck of a KingTiger and JagdPanther you can not run over, these must be shot down with AT-weapons or by tanks. Which will take a while. ;)

Ah, right. Sorry then, ignore my previous post :).
Also, artillery can work. Anything that has a "boom" to it :).

Artillery, satchels, demo charges, AT guns, tanks, hand-held AT, and even mortar fire can destroy a wreck.

So if your KT blows up on an undestrucable bridge, there is no way around it?

Well, not until you get rid of the wreck...
One thing to note is that you don't have to use attack ground to attack the wreck. Using the attack move button and then left clicking on the wreck will automatically force your tank/AT Gun to fire on the wreck. This has the benefit of your weapons hitting the tank most of the time, as sometimes your tanks will fire way off target if you attack the ground.

for most wrecks you can order your tanks to run into it; you'll know when you right click the destination (in this case a wreck) and the wreck flashes for a second, the way it flashes when you order infantry inside a building. the tank shold then run right onto or over it, destroying it.

That only works if your tank has heavy crush. Sherman croc with the doze blade, panthers, and the heavy tanks all have heavy crush. Things like stugs and shermans can't crush other tank wrecks.
For light vehicle wrecks, I'm not quite too sure, though. I seem to recall shermans ploughing through wrecked halftracks and other light vehicles, but I also recall shermans going around them sometimes...

Things with medium crush avoid wrecks altogether. But i have a slight suspicion that if you rotate a sherman next to a wreck it will crush it.

Not quite... Medium crush units can't crush tank carcasses, but they can drive right through the wrecks of armoured cars, halftracks and lighter vehicles...
Also, it's interesting to note that the Bergetiger, having been built on a Tiger chassis, also has heavy crush, meaning it can accidentially (or even deliberately) run over the wreckage of the very same tanks you're trying to recover with it... Naturally, it won't run over a tank it's been tasked to recover (it'd be a pretty crippling bug if it did), though...
