View Full Version : Which one provides better bonuses: A Vet 2 Lt. or 2 Vet 0 Lt.'s?

For those who never knew, the Lt's aura bonuses are a little more complicated than it seems; you'll want to check out the link below for more info. For example, there are non-stackable and stackable bonuses.

According to CoH-Stats (http://www.coh-stats.com/basics/lieutvet.html), level 2 aura bonuses stack with level 0 bonuses. However, what's confusing is that some bonuses are stackable, and some are non-stackable. This made me assume that the stackable bonuses are the ones that stack with OTHER Lt's in the area, while non-stackable only works with 1 Lt.

So this lead me to ponder. If I am correct, a vet 2 Lt. grants a bonus of:
1.15 x 1.15 x 1.125 = 1.4878125 ~ 48% accuracy bonus.
(Plus a few other bonuses, including weapon reload and weapon cooldown)

The calculation for 2 vet 0 Lt. is:
1.15 x 1.125 x 1.125 = 1.45536875 ~ 45% accuracy bonus.

Don't need to do 3 vet 0 Lt.'s, as obviously the total bonus would be better.

Due to the site's wording, I don't know if my calculations are true or not. So, can someone clear this up for me, and provide proof to which provides better bonuses: One vet level 2 Lieutenant, or two vet level 0 Lieutenants?

Does it really matter? Few players are going to be building multiple lieutenants anyway...

Looks OK Yurdle. The #'s seem in order so the bonus difference is, best guess with roundings, is 4%.

P.S. The stacking, I believe anyways, has to do with the 30 radius and any squad inside it. 2 Lt.'s would, regardless of their individual Vet, simply double the radius bonuses, and not stack against each other.

As noted by yourself, it is not the most straight forward to digest. :)
