Rank 1 Skill level

The beta was great, I'm really glad they released it, and I think it was also wise to reset players stats, but I am annoyed at the difference in skill between low rank players.
I did a couple of 1v1s to see what changes were made in the day 0 patch, and I was annoyed to play against rank 34 and rank 28 beta players. During the beta I was rank 8, so I'm sure if I matched against a first time player he would have been upset facing off a supposed rank 1.
How long will it take for players to reach their proper place, so good people will be pitched against other good people, and medium and under will be placed against their counterpart?
I might put off playing anymore multiplayer until the >50 beta games players leave the first few ranks.

erm, 2 weeks, 5 days and 7 hours? Who knows, the only thing you can be sure of is that it gets gradually better over time.

The first few days of any automatch system are going to be a bit schizo. Though it's based on trueskill rating if I recall, not rank.

Just stick with team games for the time being. It's never going to be completely perfect as there will be great players getting the game for the first time for quite a while, as well as great players who have been playing single player and just starting multiplayer. First few days are usually the most insane though :)

Its based on true skill rating, not rank. One thing true skill excels at is rapidly moving new players to an appropriate rank. I have played two 1v1 matches and am already true skill 12. At the end of the beta the highest players were in the high 30s. Thing should begin to separate in a few days.

How does trueskill work? It isn´t explained in the manuel.Also not a single word about stuff that can be unlocked in MP.
