On the level Greenskin Weaponsmith
I get the error Fatal Scar error - execution Paused
Fatal Scar Error calling init function <>. Execution has been terminted!

I can hit Resume game, but the screen stays black, if I hit ctrl alt del, it'll come back to the game and ask if I wish to quit the mission.
Not sure whats up.

This is a common problem specific to this level.
I have found no fix as of yet but Relic are currently looking into this problem.

I shall post back if I hear any progress.

Same here... same bug.. bad prob is "Angel Gate" mission bug (closing Angel Gate step). That blocks the campaign at all..

The angel gate problem is easily fixable. Lower your settings to about, low. And play the level through, and turn back up to high after the level. Not too sure about the the SCAR problem however. You can't advance either way.

For those of you getting Fatal Scar Errors, please make sure you're not trying to continue a campaign from "an earlier version" of the game.

If that is not the case, you can email your sav file to dow2bugs@relic.com and we can take a look.

Scar Errors are usually problems in the mission scripts where the player does something the game designer didn't take into account while scripting the missions.

If you can identify how you were playing the mission at the time when you got the error, that might identify where the flaw in the script is.

Hello, I've been getting this ''Fatal Scar Error-Execution Paused'' error on the Threat to Angel Forge, Fire Prism Assault Mission. I am using 1.1.0 patch but even if I lower my setttings to medium or low, the problem still persists.

Is this a specific bug/error that Relic Entertainment is trying to fix, or a personal crash?

I don't know how to post my warning and dxdiag log files, so any help would be appreciated.

hi got this on fire prism angel forge - but i had previously visited angel forge before i was forced to so this seems like a big error, also i tried messing with settings and its patched so who knows..sham on you relic for these buggy games...also ive been stuck in buildings perm. and wargear icons are sometimes missing in the trooper equip screen!!! :noway:

If that is not the case, you can email your sav file to and we can take a look.
Bah that's what I get for being impatient. Oh well I guess i'll just be satisfied with my retail copy MP.

I had done the Angel Gate mission with no problems, but now Tarkus' squad does not spawn for some reason at the forge, anyone having the same problem? I got there on Primarch too so I'm pissed that it messed up on me, guess I'll have to start over again.
