After years of modifying Dawn of War, the release of Dawn of War 2 presented the modding community with a new game full of things to figure out and challenges to overcome. Persistent rumors that modding would be completely impossible left many wondering whether there would be a DoW2 modding community at all. And then Fuggles released his first Victory Condition mod a few days into the beta.
For a modding community to grow, information needs to be shared. That's the purpose of this forum... compiling the various tutorials and how-to's that have been created by members of the community as an easy reference for those who are wanting to learn how to mod the game.
How-to's and tutorials should be created in the main DoW2 modding forum, and you should send one of the moderators a PM letting them know that it's there. They'll then move your thread into this forum so that it can add to the modding knowledge contained within. Don't be afraid to create new tutorials, even if it's on something that you think is simple but that hasn't been documented yet... the more guides that we have here, the more information will be available to new (and veteran) modders who are trying to expand their knowledge.
