And is there a way to get the sternguard wargear without giving Microsoft my personal info? I just want the bonus I was promised without making Microsoft my new best friend.

Well, I lied my ass off to make them leave alone. Now it says my bonus code is invalid. WTF?

To create a desktop shortcut, open Steam and click on the 'MY games' tab. Right click on Dawn of War II and click create desktop shortcut.

What personal info is Games for Windows asking for? When I received my wargear I did not have to give any details away.
Have you downloaded the Marketplace (http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-GB/Live/Pages/livemarketplace.aspx) programme and entered your code under the redeem code section? (under the marketplace tab)

Thanks for the reply. I was feeling pretty cranky last night. I just created the desktop icon. I got a membership account with Microsoft Live when I downloaded the Beta. I went to their website, outside of the game, went to Marketplace, typed in my code and it replied to me that the code was invalid. Unfortunately, I though that maybe I'd typed it in wrong and while trying to clear a bit of debris off the code on my card, I wiped out some of the numbers. So, I'm pretty boned on getting the bonus wargear. Oh well, I guess I'll try playing the campaign. Hopefully that'll chear me up.
