NWN- Release date pushed back

BioWare's new publishing partner, Infogrames, has just announced in their press release that Neverwinter Nights will be launched worldwide in Summer, 2002. We apologize for the delay in getting back to you during the day today - we want to try to clarify this date announcement since so many people have been posting about it on the message boards.

Why the hell is Bioware still working with those idiots? Wasn't there a lawsuit? Didn't Interplay screw them over a couple times, and kill off their projects?

I stopped having interest in buying Interplay right after Descent3 came out. They finished the descent series, I had FS, and BG was not of interest.

I recanted for BG, SoA and ToB, but I stand resolute.

But I kinda want Klingon Academy now, and I need NwN....

Aww man....... This is such a pain in the arse. This is the 3rd time (I think) that it has been delayed.

I don't mind them putting off to get the game right, but was'ent the original release date for this game like last summer. WTF were they thinking when they put out the original release date.................

I certainly hope that it is worth the wait (well at least it does), when and if it eventually comes out.

I reckon one of the reasons that it is being delayed maybe that DoAC is doing so well in the States and is it just about to be released in Europe...... Marketing people. Don't you just hate them :)

Read...Bioware isnt working with Interplay anymore..
Its INFOGRAMES now.
And since they had this whole lawsuite thing with interplay, i understand they have to push back the release date a little.
Also, its reasonable to understand that infogrames has to do some more work before they can release it, i mean, they just got hold of NWN since last month...

With a year+ of development time on NWN since last E3 by the time it's released will only make it that much better.

Hopefully DS will be released soon so we can get our fix. DS is another good looking game.

They are now posting each set of updates/fixes they've done each week/couple of weeks.
So now we'll be able to see whats actually happening...
