View Full Version : Angry Bits and Cybork Implants

I main the Warboss and know most of his abilities quite well. My question is for the lesser of his two used pieces of Wargear:

Angy Bits - Grants the Now I’m Angry ability, when triggered causes the Warboss to do more damage. The ability charges up as the Warboss takes damage.

and

Cybork Implants - Grants Big Stomp that stuns enemies. This ability can only be used after the Warboss has received enough damage. Increases health of the Warboss.

I want to know... does anybody out there use them? I tried the Angry Bits yesterday and found it to be quite powerful at smacking Space Marines around... but that charge up time is painful.

As for the Cybork Implants, I've never gone with the upgrade. Anybody out there who has experimented more than I can tell me how those upgrades have worked out for you?

Cybork is great because its a huge aoe stun, that can allow you to stun squads long enough to finish the off entire, or drop a roks on them.

awesome against nids, you can stun his entire army, and rok them.

I use Cybork alot..when I'm not rushing to T2-3 to get the claw-rack-huge armor combo..which I tend to do a bit too much lately.

Anyway, as landshark says, yeah, it's great. Its basically like the stomp, but has a bigger radius, does more damage (not so sure about that one), and stuns the enemies. But the charge up is quite lengthy aswell.

Never tried the angry bits though.

Angry bits seems a bit weak really. It says that it damages those who attack the commander in melee but the damage seems pretty insignificant and the charge up also takes forever

Well I was experimenting with Angry Bitz a bit in conjunction with the Claw/Hammer. With the hammer it knocks the hell out of squads with a wide arc doing massive damage and knocking them off their feet. With the claw the damage was less then impressive.

Since the Warboss was 'stuck in' it kept charging up and I was able to use it 3-5 in a match really beating down regular troops. I also gave him Spikey Armor and he became a DPS monster but couldn't stay in battle for very long.

What it DIDN'T help with was commanders... it didn't up the damage significantly against them

thats what 'ard boys is for frigid.

power klaw + angry bits makes for awesome hero and vehicle killing power.

the hammer is way better infantry though.

i prefer using cybork and trophy rack, with a hammer.

'eavy armor is nice, but you can use 'ard boys instead and get the benefit of being able to stun a mob and devestate them with the rest of your melee.

@: LandShark... heh. I guess in the few instances dealing with the enemy I forgot about 'ard Boyz. I never forget about it when using Nobz... but I guess I never really apply it to the Warboss. I will be doing that from now on.

When I first started, I used the Power Claw by default. Never got the hammer. But that boost nearby troops get when he hits the enemy is so gratifying and useful that I get it a lot more... and only get the claw if I HAVE to.

The Gob is becoming my Tier 1 standby... the boss pole health upgrade is great but not as useful as it used to be. In tier 1 I get the Gob and Hammer... and if I need that extra punch to finish the match due to tons of troops I have to get the Trophy Rack and Claw.

Anybody else have good tatics for their Warboss and Gear?

Custom Shoota is a good weapon, with DPS equal to Kommandos under love da dakka plus knockback. Perfect for chasing down fast units, like the Eldar, that da boss has a tough time catching.

equal to 1 kommando.

anyone has extensive experience on the kustom shoota and how much damage it does to guardians?

btw, i get it because of the shooty sound.

30 DPS? eh, seems kinda weak to me...

its good for a ranged weapon, compared to other commander ranged choices.

the thing is that it puts a good ranged dps weapon on a melee commander. Useful in some situations, but i dont think it knocks down enough to be good enough to purchase.

if they provided a knockback ability for clickable use it would be great.

@whatsleft - thats a nice orky explanation :P

Cybork implants are nice with alot of sluggas and shootas, when you're orky with da boyz and like them mobs running round'
It stops being funny when them metal boxes come around and shoot.

Sometimes it can be about what folks don't expect though. That's why I love the asshun knife, because everyone sees a Kommando Nob and charges him. Bam, one good hit and most units are either dead or close to dyin.

Same goes for the Warboss, you expect a melee heay tank and suddenly you're getting hit for respectable ranged DPS. Conceptually, I like the idea because it turns da boss into a jack of all trade unit rather than specializing to one focus, say melee. For down that path is the bubble boy...

i will say one thing for the shoota, it's very handy against charging heroes and setup teams.

sometimes. It has a very low chance of actually procing. and the worst part is when he targets the wrong member of the weapons team. Its just to random to be a viable upgrade.

it needs something like the apoths master crafted bolter, where you can knock over a unit when you really have to.

i tried it ytd and im amazed at the knockback done by the shoota, its great against lone dudes like bubbleboy and shielded warlocks; can never get up against da shoota.

but it fails in its auto targeting, likes to shoot at other things usually, rather than that charging dude.

If it did its job perfectly every time it wouldn't be very Orky.

I just have bad luck with the custom shoota. It does knock people back but not often enough for me.

that makes no sense frigid.

every other ork in the game uses his ability when you tell him to.

the custom shoota is decent, but it never really does its job when you need it to.

that makes no sense frigid.

Maybe I should of put a /sarcasm at the end. It was a joke.

The point is that I don't find it to be very effective. Its fun to knock down space marines but it doesn't kill them like Big Bang Hammer.
