I know you folk aint allowed to post media from the game. But whats the reason?
I remember when that Doom3 demo went out, Carmac was pissed because he felt that since it was unfinished, every1 was getting an unfair view of his hard work.
Does the same apply here? Or can we get a tiny wee screenshot!
+ How stressed do you get at deadline time? Is it like exams in Highschool/Uni? Your up till 2 in the morn and youve got a cold/tight feeling in your gut all the time?
I think (!) (I said I think!)
It’s got to do whit advertising. They what to keep people waiting for the game, keep am in suspense, so that they will come and check the pic galleries more often, and check abut the game. but I am really guessing here…
Or maybe the game isn’t good enough for showing…
Who knows?
They know.
At least tell us the reason pleas!

They said that in the near future more info will be released and screenies. They also said that it is quite playable right now and loads of fun. So I can't wait for some screenies too! Just wait and see, it should be soon.

It might also give people unfair expectations:
for example, we still have people wondering why the Support Frigate wasn't included in Homeworld 2.

My guess: They promised someone an "exclusive" article with screens / info etc. and if they give us the screens / info / etc. before hand, then the article won't be very exclusive.
Maybe that's just what I'm hoping though (/me waits next to my mailbox for the next slew of PC mags). :)

Good guesses. The primary reasons developers don't release info:
- You can spoil exclusives with the media.
- The game isn't quite ready to be shown.
In our case, its both of the above. Soon, though. Soon.:bandit:

Hmm... Should I be subscribing to another PC mag?
I already get PC gamer and Computer Gaming World...
I definately don't want to miss the exclusive... :)

In the past relic has used pc gamer and ign to release their 'exclusives'. Of course this could be because their producers were those of sierra and microsoft. THQ might have better relations with cgw and gamespot, vs pcg and ign.

Well gamespot and ign are joining forces soon (according to Penny Arcade) so I suggest waiting a bit.
