im REALLY REALLY hoping for a metacampaign where you train/purchase/reinforce your troops
i cant imagine the idea of base building in 40k, that would jsut be wrong, it totally doesnt fit the setting
drop troop reinforcements yes, but marines materialising out of a barracks every minute? no.

What's that smell? :mag:
HOLY THREAD RESURRECTION BATMAN!
That post is two years old man.
Whilst it may be a good idea you could've just made a new topic and quoted the guy.

i doubt that guy will be coming back anytime soon... =P but it is sort of already seeing as the bases in dow are sota outposts geting reinforced via drop pods ect. But three posts in 2 years??!! that guy must feel really unpopular :loser:

I think it is a great idea as well, but do not expect to see anything like it in the expansion. Our best hope is with a sequel or another WH40k game.

erm but if you look at the animation of the chapel barracks or the HQ or the sacred artifact...they all receive drop pods from orbit which then descend into the building and out pops a squad of marines/single unit.
so bascially i think you're wrong in saying that troops suddenly "materialize".

I heard they're adding more objective based multiplayer games, mayb they should make one where attacker has reinforcements and defender gets a base.
and i think this thread might be locked soon, necroing a thread is not allowed....

whats so bad about necroing? as long as it only happens now and then....although thats a good idea Da Loop, like a seige battle, IG would be perfect for this :salute:
Holy thread necromancy batman. Why did you bump a TWO YEAR OLD thread about a campaign feature for a game that has been released a year ago, meaning that this feature is impossible to implement at this time?
Also note the suggestion box.
