1.Scout Squads - Now have flash bangs instead of frags.

2.Tactical Marines - Now have frag grenades and better looking armor.

3.Assault Marines - Now only have melta bombs and better looking armor.

4.Terminators must be bought from HQ.

5.New squad that can upgrade heavy bolters or plasma cannons. It can also get a squad sergeant.

6.Eldar Guardians - Can not build energy shields no more.

[Power Node]

1.You now have a structure limit of 4.

2.You can now build turrets for each army.

3.You can now build waaagh banners,web gates,relay ops and brood nests from it.

4.You can now build energy shields and cover for space marines for it.

[Other]

1.Most of all icons and descriptions have been fixed to where there will be no confusion and the game playable as version 1 still needs work though.

awsome looking mod but when i downloaded it i got the application load error, that means it's been broken by the latest patch dosent it?

It don't matter, the update will never effect the mod because it modifies the original dawn of war files. So if it gets an update the "update files" become "original files" instantly which do not interfere with my mod or any ones. You most likely got that from typing the launch properties wrong or installed the files wrong.

BTW i will be adding on version two soon!!!!!!

Thats not exactly accurate tank093... unless your mod modifies every single file and even then its not guaranteed as they can change the calls in the dll or executable. For example 1.3 was incompatible with a lot of mods because relic changed around the weapon type structure and many mods were referencing weapon types that were moved.

I modified tons of things and made my own weapon upgrades etc. I,am using the mod from the link above, and the game has be updated many times. Just like original dawn of war no updates corrupted my files. On old dawn of war i made changes to every thing an no update got in the way. I never had problems with that, THAT which what you say may be correct for some one els, but for me i have never ever got that problem even with other games with moding tools like NWN2 for example or glest.

Example (this is in your old folder safe from being over wrote)

You change a gun to have 3000 damage

the update changes the same gun to do 100 damage

your mod over laps with the updated gun that you modified hence then name "MOD" that is what i thought any ways. as long as directories are not being screwed with.

BTW a few more days and V2 Will be here.

Update Notes

1. Mrahahahaha SQUAD MELEE

Clonesa is right Tank, if you created any new weapon file you'll find an entry in it referencing it's weapon_family, Relic changed they layout of the families in the latest patch.
So they used to be stored in weapons\weapon_family\race_marine or ork and so forth, they changed it to weapons\weapon_family\legacy also core and pvp.
If you created your own version of every single file a piece of equipment calls on you will never have problems, but say if you left something like the art or weapon_family as they default because you saw no reason to change them and then relic moved/deleted/changed them in a patch you get errors.
