25th Dec 03, 3:44 PM
motiv-8, you put a lot of '?'s after clothes from Abercrombie and yet not after cologne. I tend to see them under the same type of thing.
Can anyone help me decide what to do with my money (I have a couple hundred). I was thinking of getting an Audigy 2, a new speaker system (What kind should I get?) and a nice big gift for my girlfriend (I was thinking full DVD set of Fawlty Towers show). But is that a good way of spending it? Well at least some suggestions on the speaker system for computer (At least 5.1), and is the Audigy 2 ZS better than the normal Audigy 2 (ignore the platinum fancy stuff, I don't record music or anything).
Elephant, if you ask this question in the Technical Discussion Forum, you will probably make ionfish one happy moderator...

One of my friends knew I liked jazz and R&B -- so he apparently...procured...20 songs of those genres and made a CDR, which turned out to be one of my favorite presents. He also gave me a large styrofoam block, that bastard.

Easily the DVD of the year, bar the LOTR one which, considering the source material, had a bit of a head start. Great film too.

30th Dec 03, 3:08 PM
A sled...A GeForce4 64mb vidcard (hello hw2...)
No fair. ;) The place where I live never sees snow more than about a quarter of an inch. Oh yeah - and you better have checked to see if your comp can run HW2 before you bought it. Or before you buy it. The comp I'm using right now doesn't have the processor speed to run the thing. It won't let you install the game without it. (though I managed to bypass that on a different computer :wtf2: I just took a different route into the installation screen and it let me install the game despite having less processor power than I should. I just installed it to rip music ;))
My short list:
.hack//Infection (PS2 game)
a gold bracelet
My father got a metal detector...he's now become a newbie treasure hunter and, with a big knife, is digging up the backyard of his workplace trying to find metal stuff.
Hey, I want a Japanese style sword! Blades fascinate me...no, I'm not crazy. I have a cool looking wavy-bladed dagger. It's a showpiece or something, so it's not sharp, except at the tip. I mutilated some paper with it once, but that's about all you can easily cut with it.:wtf2:
