This mod makes the space marines appear as they do in the backstory, where one marine is the equal to many times their number in enemies.

installation: extract to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam2\steamapps\common\dawn of war 2\GameAssets\Data\simulation

what was changed:

All space marine squads reduced to 1 man squads.

health of 1 man squad (each marine) is the equal to the total health of the original squad.

damage is the equal to the original squads total.

pop cap is the equal to the original squads total.

req/power cost is the equal to the original squads total.

flamers, plasma guns, and missile launchers have had their damage and cost increased.

sergeants have health/damage 3x their original, so they are a little better than the 'normal' member of the squad. adding a sergeant will make the squad a 2 man squad.

commanders now have 2x thier original damage and health. all weapon upgrades have been doubled in damage and cost.

commanders now take up 5 pop cap. terminator commander takes up 7. (subject to change)

vehicles have not been changed in any way.

increased the build times of the changed unit to be more in line with the original squads.

things to do:

make sergeants their own squads.

make the marines use the rank 60 wargear.

almost, but i did what i had suggested to you. also, the mod is more balanced. test it, youll see.

instead of the single marine being way stronger than a normal squad, i made him the equal of it.

Make movie eldar,nids and orkz plz.


I like your mod cuz it not only it adds depth to SM but also that it causes less laag.

Making all the other races the same way would make it epic.

im going to make movie nid (callin the mod endless swarm). not sure how i'll do eldar and ork though. ideas are welcome.

Idea:

Double the number of tyranids,while marines should be just as in your mod.

I dunno about eldar,maybe treat them the same way as your marines because eldar are scarce in numbers.

Orks could have an increase in squad size by 50%.Orks somehow intervene with the whole"Swarm" thing of the tyranids or leave them as is.Who cares about the Orks anyway.

im still brainstorming of how to do the eldar and orks. if i double the ork squad sizes, i could triple to nid sizes...

eldar, i'll probably halve there sizes, and double the damage/health per man, and also half the pop cap usage of the units, and the total pop cap (to 50).

Triple nid infatry? Yay,synapse chain mayham.
No,dont tripple nid sizes,they would die before reaching any SM infantry and considering they are Melee army,just no.
Even though,9 warriors approaching your single sm soldier would be fun.


Eldar idea is fine,orks could have in increase of 50%.

So the enitre scheme would look like this

SM to 1 man squads

Eldar 50% reductionm

Nid 100% increase

Orks 50% increase(i would leave orks)they r jsut fin)

That would cut it.

im thinking about increasing the pop cap usage of the am commanders. at the moment, they are just about one man armies. im thinking of raising the FC, Apo, and TM to pop cap 10, and the termie FC to pop cap 15.

also, does anyone think that i should increase the power of the 'nid commanders?

One thing you could fix about the nids is increasing the speed of the tyrant to 5(it is 4.5).
