Sorry for the simple question but I searched this board, gr.org and google but could not find an answer to this question. I have tried different keystrokes while in game to make this happen but can not find a way to do it.

It is quite annoying if I want only one unit to leave building for reinforcement, etc.

Thanks

yes you can select the building then select the unit inside you want to ungarrison then click the ungarrison key then click out side the building. same thing if you want to unload one squad from a HT

Or the quicker way is just to simply right click the unit that you want ungarrisoned.

Saves valuable seconds especially when there is a lot going on.

Select building or vehicle > Right-click on the unit's icon to bail them out immediately

Awsome, thanks guys.

Simply right clicking the garrisoned unit? Amazing its that simple.

I can honestly say I did not try that.

Yeah, I found out when playing the N44 mod - the icon to disembark troops is replaced by the supressed fire ability.

I was panicking until I suddenly found out that right clicking works both in the mod and vanilla game, lol.

For a second there I thought this was some bad reference to 2 girls 1.....

nevermind.

Yeah, you can ungarison infantry from a building one infantry at a time. Just need to click on the unit's icon in the garison list and then the ungarison button, and then tell it where to go. Simply mashing the ungarison all button is more for the "Oh shi-" moments when someone just chucked an incendiary mortar into your building and so on.

Using the ungarrison ability is super helpful because it lets you choose the direction they come out of the building.

You can easily use it to bypass some wire traps... enter the building the wire is against, then exit the other side of the building. Opponents won't be expecting infantry coming from a supposedly blocked passage.

I think we'll move this to the Boot Camp since it's a question about basic game mechanics.

also as an expansion on cobras point, you can purposely make it look like there is a gap in your defences where the opponent can just pop through a house to bypass it, so just mine the door where they would be coming out...
