Hey, king. Good to see ya reaching in the community here.
I think on a nid-noob note, I like nidzilla, alot. Big scary models, marching across the board unstoppable.
Besides, monstrous creatures are really good period.
Just PM me anytime you want a game or something.

The thing to remember with Warriors is that a lot of nid players hate them because they're not TMCs.
In reality, Warriors aren't too bad, but the thing is that they get very expensive very quickly. Making them winged is one of those very expensive things.
The primary use of Warriors is (despite their name) to provide Synapse and assault support, not to do all the fighting on their own - you essentially stick your Warriors in there to prevent the "carpet nids" (gaunts) from going into Instinctive Behavior and to gain the fruits of your letter writing campaign that made you totally immune to double strength and force weapon Instant Death for non-synapse units.
Generally, unless you have huge masses of Gargoyles, you can stick a Winged Hive Tyrant (a much better use of winged) to Synapse them. Generally, you should keep your nid units as cheap as possible, buy barely enough biomorphs to do their job. If their job absolutely requires them to be winged, then get winged, but otherwise don't - wings are hugely expensive.

They count toward the leage on thursday and fridays. I'll play with you on friday, I'll show up. lol, NEVER BACK DOWN FROM A FIGHT!! (yeah right)
And yeah, on topic, I agree with Epicenter, thing about warriors is that they don't buy back what you pay them for. Too much required for too little gained.

In my eyes, Nidz are one of the top 3 codex's out there right now, simply due to the flexibility and options available to them, and their over all strength (for those that are curious, Chaos and Orks are the other two).
Warriors are key to most lists. Not only are they one of the most reliable ways to provide synapse, but they can pack a punch too. I generally like mine shooty, but I have seen them kitted out in a variety of ways.
As epicenter said, they aren't there to do it on their own, but to support and provide synapse. But don't underestimate their punch either.
My typical warrior set up is extended Carapace, Toxin Sacs, Deathspitters, and Scything talons for 34 points.
