Dawn of War 2 Beta "There is only War" - FAQ.

What is this "There is only War" Beta?
It's an open Beta to test all the new things, changes and fixes Relic will build in with the patch 1.4. By playing it you can see all this before the official release to DoW2 and even help Relic improving the game by giving feedback. The changes for now can be found here (http://forums.relicnews.com/showpost.php?p=3569198&postcount=1) .
How long will it run and who can play it?
It will last from 1st of July until 13th of July, everyone who owns DoW2 can participate.
How do I get it?
It's easily installed via Steam. See here now how.
Start Steam and chose "Settings" from the "File" menu.

On the next screen click "Change" for the Beta participations on Steam.

Chose the "Dawn of War 2 - There is only War" Beta from the drop down menu. (name might be slightly different, same for below picture!)

The Beta will be downloaded on Steam now, the size is around 380 MB. During the Beta there will be more updates to install.
Where to post about technical issues and how?
For technical problems or questions please go to the DoW2 Tech Assistance (http://forums.relicnews.com/forumdisplay.php?f=258) and post there, read the stickies (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=228906) before and add the ncessary infos to get help as fast as possible.
How does the World Builder coming with the Beta work?The World builder application (WorldBuilder.exe) will be located in the DOW2 root directory. There will also be a World Builder PDF file in your local root directory, containing step-by-step details showing you how to start and play on your own map.
Everyone not playing in the Beta, you can have a look at the manual by downloading it from here (http://community.dawnofwar2.com/blogs/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/dow_ii_worldbuilder_manual.pdf).
