View Full Version : Deff dread burnas vaporise turrets! (1.4.2 )

Playing a cap spire 3v3 and our opponents spammed turrets, big time. Made a deff dread and purchased the burnaz and bits upgrade, and the turrets died before the dread even got into melee with them! No shit, he'd walk directly towards them and they would die before he could even swing. We still lost horribly but I killed about 6 turrets with the same deff dread.
If I could figure out how to attach a replay, I'd do it!

All flamer weapons vaporize turrets... but yeah. That seems excessive. ;)

give the guy some credit. at least the deff dreads wont have to worry bout being suppressed

Dreds are scary. Just make sure the rest of your forces are behind, however. I find Orks who just send a Deff Dred against my turret end up losing that Dred very, very fast. <3 Omnissiah Nades.

Eldar need flame weapons..I don't suppose Immolater would work ?

Sluggaz with burnaz flanking and taking out turrets in a couple secs=decent. Fully upgraded dread from tier 2 taking it out in a second=expected. Honestly, you paid 450-50+ power for the dread. What's the problem?

Uh, they're a hard counter to turrets, what's the problem?

Roblem is that they die in 2sec and its ridicolus.
