Hey all,
I have just one little question.
I was playing against some guy in a ranked match, and to be honest, I kinda kicked his ass.
Not that I am very good or so, it just happend I guess.
But anyway, when we started we were both polite to eachother, but after I was close to the win, he started calling me a smurf. First I thought it he was just pissed and started calling me names, but now I noticed smurf is used alot more then I thought.
Does it have a meaning or something?
Thanks in advance!

I believe its when a higher level player has an alt profile at low level that he just uses to gank low level players.

Yeah. Its funny, take me for example, on one of my accounts I am 1-0 with every faction and level 4, you can only achieve this by beating high levels(lets say 8+). It is hard to get a game though. I always kick people from my games that are 0-0.
Like SubEffect said, its a high leveled player who makes a new account to look like a noob.

In automatch, a smurf account is usally used to test out new strategies.

Thats the problem, there are some people like me, who just start up the game, and are pretty good from the start and then get called smurfs.
But no worries they are just pissed because they are not as good at the game as you are :)
Yeah, I frequently get called a smurf. It's the opposite of a "gg" at the end of the game- clearly you had to be cheating the system in order to beat your opponent. :P
