In Search of: Alarial

I'm not sure how many of the Oldtimers are left, who remember the Lady of Homeworld, Alarial... but she was a regular back before the time of the first Board Crash. She briefly appeared on these boards, and even posted in my Homeworld: Exodus thread.

And then something odd happened. Her comments in my thread, along with several people welcoming her back (including my own comments) vanished without a trace.

I had kept in touch with her, off and on when her job permitted... but I've not heard from her since last October. I'm curious if anyone else has heard from her and if she's okay. And if anyone knows why those posts vanished as well, for that matter. :D

A brief websearch turned up this site (http://pub41.ezboard.com/btwinklingofaneye48917.showLocalUserPublicProfile?login=alariel) which features a YahooIM name. Let me know if you have any success. This was the girl with the renfaire picture, right?

Yes, the RennFair photo girl. ;) Who caused hundreds of guys in the old Homeworld forum to fall in love after seeing that pic. :D

I actually have several e-mail addys for her. The problem is, she had suffered some... computer problems (understatement, but long story and not mine to tell) resulting in most of those accounts being valid but inaccessible to her. I have her most current one... which has also not had any replies sent out from it for since Oct. 5.

She's not even been showing up in Diablo II, which she did fairly frequently to search for items to sell on E-Bay. At least, not under her account name. I've not been on there lately though so that situation might have changed.

I'm actually just working on the theory that if you name someone, they will come. ;) You know, sort of like naming a certain Great One from the Lovecraftian mythos, but much cuter and more brainwarping than anything Lovecraft came up with. ;)

Ya know, the smiley limit on this is *really* annoying. *sigh*

Anyway, just was curious if anyone had heard from her. :lurk:
